Beauty Tips| Vitamin D For Skin

Stored Skin-care vitamins A, C and E are making room in your medicine cabinet for vitamin D, which hydrates skin, smoothes fine lines and boosts radiance.

Sun exposure is that it can cause sunburns, aging and skin cancer. You can get your daily dose of D without the sun by consuming vitamin D rich foods like yogurt, salmon and swordfish; by drinking milk or by taking supplements. But the best way to get vitamin D to your skin is by applying it directly. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, $65, dgskincare.com

Beauty Tips| EXFOLIATING SKIN to SMOOTH COMPLEXION

Hello everyone, dead cells suck the luster from the face. Not only that, but the clog your pores and highlight fine lines too. As you age the rate of cell turnover slows, causing flakiness and dullness, this are signs to step up your exfoliating signs. Here’s how based on your skin type.

OIL OR  ACNE-PRONE SKIN
Exfoliation works wonders at decongesting clogged pores, making it a must for zit- prone skin. But taking a sandpaper approach can leave you with even more bumps. Use a scrub with a small, nourishing jojoba beads, like the ones found in Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub which smoothes  skin and controls oil production. Apply a thin even layer to wet skin, message in circular motions with medium pressure then rinse and pat dry. Try not to exfoliate more than once a week, scrubbing too often can make breakouts worse.

NORMAL SKIN
If you’re one of the lucky ones who is neither oily nor dry, you can tolerate a variety of exfoliating techniques and do deeper pressure. Every other day, apply an alpha hydroxy-acid cleanser ( it removes dead skin cells) to wet skin and drive it in using a face-massage device in five – to 10- seconds. Try Olay Pore Minimizing Cleanser + scrub Only $7 at drugstore and Clarisonic Mia Skin Cleaning System $145 at sephora.
To take exfoliation to the max (normal skin can tolerate a more intense approach), add a retinoic acid such as the prescription cream Retin-A to your nightly routine to help speed up the cell turnover and increase collagen. Its great for improving tone and texture and reducing wrinkles.

DRY OR SENSITIVE SKIN
Sensitive types require a lighter touch and gentler products. Be sure to avoid using strong exfoliants that contain glycolic acid, which travels quickly into the sensitive skin’s fragile layers. Instead, look to physical exfoliants made with perfectly round synethetic spherules that are less likely to irritate skin the way natural ones can, try Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream ($28.50 at Nordstrom).Wet your face, the massage the product onto your skin using light pressure and small, circular motions (if your face is red immediately after, you’ve scrubbed too hard). Remember to do it once a week is just enough to smooth skin without drying it out.

Beauty TipsI Home Remedies Skin Whitening

One of the safest bleaching options is natural method. Drinking water 10-12 glasses a day will help flush out toxins from your body. Lack of enough sleep hurts your body and this will reflect on your skin appearance. Whatever you eat also affects the appearance of your skin. Foods rich in fiber, for example fruits and vegetables, are natural treatments of hyper pigmentation. They contain anti-oxidants which flush out toxins from your body. Green tea, another rich source of anti-oxidants is a health drink that will brings out the glow in your skin.

There are different homemade skin bleaching remedies. Bleaching skin with these remedies is all about having the right ingredients. The advantage of these ingredients is that they are safe. They therefore pose no harm to the skin of its user. Examples of homemade remedies are:

1. Honey and turmeric face mask. Mix 1 tablespoon of honey, turmeric paste, and water. Apply the paste on your skin and leave for 15minutes. Applying this mask will not only lighten your skin but also get rid of dark spots and pimples.
2. Sandalwood and lemon juice paste. Mix 1 tablespoon of sandalwood with lemon juice. Apply on your face for 15 minutes. This is an effective home remedy for inhibiting melanin production from your skin. You may supplement the lemon juice with rosewater.
3. Lemon juice. Mix lemon juice, turmeric powder and cucumber. Apply the mixture on your skin and leave for 15minutes. Wash it off with cold water. Lemon juice is an effective natural skin lightener. It illuminates the skin dermis giving it a healthy glow. The acidic nature of lemon juice makes the skin photosensitive. Therefore, lemon juice should only be applied on the skin at night to avoid the sun’s UV rays.

Worst place to get a Pimple..!

I have a pimple in the stupidest location right now: on the, like, top ridge of my nose, right next to my eyebrow. But while this is an annoyingly central, focal point of a location, I would not classify it as the worst possible place to get a pimple. No, that honor goes to the edge of the lip.

At least in my opinion, that's the worst possible place to get a pimple. It just has to be the most painful--other than maybe the crevice of the nose--and a pimple anywhere near your mouth always risks resembling a cold sore, which will of course prompt the inevitable herpes jokes from friends. A lip pimple is also basically un-coverable, since any concealer you apply will come off should you apply lipstick or lip balm, or you know, eat/drink anything at all. It's also basically un-poppable because doing so is just too excruciatingly uncomfortable.
