Beauty Tips| How to Get Rid of a Pimple: 1-7

  1. Do not touch or pop the pimple. It will only make the pimple more obvious and risk infection and scarring. Instead, take up the following routine, twice a day, until it disappears.
  2. Wash your hands thoroughly before you touch your face.
  3. Wash your face gently but thoroughly with a mild, medicated soap and warm water. The water shouldn't be steaming hot; it should be just a little warm. Do not use a washcloth, as the scrubbing action could distribute bacteria to other parts of your face. Use your hands. Wash for about 30 seconds.
      4. Pat your skin dry with a towel. Always pat; don't wipe or rub. Wiping can move bacteria on your  face and spread it by redistributing it in other places.
      5. Apply mandelic acid, benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid topical cream on the pimple. Mandelic acid has antibacterial properties which will kill the acne causing bacteria, Propionibacterium acnes." If the spot is under the skin surface and hurts when touched, use benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic Acid should work well for all other acne spots.
6.After topical treatment is dry, apply a basic face moisturizer (preferably allergy-tested, fragrance free, and oil free). Without moisturizing, the skin around the pimple can dry and irritate your skin, possibly making the pimple more inflamed and noticeable. Some contain a mild sunscreen, which is often recommended with some acne washes and medications.
7.Dermabrasion removes the redness. A simple natural home remedy for this is to use the skin inside of an egg shell. Google "dermabrasion with eggs".

Beauty Tips| Why You Should Start Sticking Your Mascara In Your Bra

Apparently there is a majore beauty benefit from sticking your mascara in your bar while you do the rest of your makeup. "I go through a tube of mascara a month since I like to use it a lot. But I've found I can extend a tube by a few weeks just by using body heat on the tube for 5 mintues each day. I just tuck my mascara in my bra cup while i do my base makeup and the mascara is then warmed up enough to go on super smooth. With both application ease and getting lots more applications out of one tube by doing this. Don't know if this would work on all mascaras, but works great with Cover Girl Professional Lash."

Intensify
Find an eyebrow pencil that is the same color as your hair. Fill in your arch by using short, fast strokes to mimic the shape of real hairs.

Highlight
Apply a champagne shadow along your brow bone below your arch. This will define your shape and add a touch of shimmer to draw attention to your brows.

Beauty Tips| Complexion Concealer

Concealer is supposed to mask problems but applied the wrong way, it can actually magnify a zit.

1. Look for a matte or oil-free concealer
It will adhere better to the skin and wont slide off like a creamy formula can. One with sulfur also helps keep skin clear.

2. Remember light shade enhance dark ones recede.
Never put a too-light concealer or shimmery powder onto a raised bump its like shinning a spotlight on it. Match the concealer to your skin, then use a brush to lightly tap on a slightly darker matte eye shadow shade to give the illusion of shrunken bump

3. Layer
Think of a pimple as a tiny hill on your face. you need to apply a few thin layers to the blemish and the area around it to make the spot visually shrink. Use a concealer brush to pat it on and blend well. Your fingers are a breeding ground for bacteria, which worsens acne don't forget that.

Beauty Tips| Vitamin D For Skin

Stored Skin-care vitamins A, C and E are making room in your medicine cabinet for vitamin D, which hydrates skin, smoothes fine lines and boosts radiance.

Sun exposure is that it can cause sunburns, aging and skin cancer. You can get your daily dose of D without the sun by consuming vitamin D rich foods like yogurt, salmon and swordfish; by drinking milk or by taking supplements. But the best way to get vitamin D to your skin is by applying it directly. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, $65, dgskincare.com
